Rae Phillips is a CPA and has over ten years' experience in private and public accounting, financial consulting, and small business tax and business consulting.
Prior to joining Frame Legal, Rae was a senior associate with the U.S. division of Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ Dispute Analysis and Investigations Group. She was also an associate of PWC’s Business Recovery Services Group and Audit and Assurance Group in the San Francisco and Atlanta offices.
While at PWC, Rae Phillips provided advisory services in financial accounting, bankruptcy, valuation analysis, financial modeling and projections, due diligence, forensic accounting, damage analysis, and review of EBITDA quality and litigation advisory. Rae has advised clients in a variety of industries: technology and software development, telecom, retail, energy, aeronautics, textiles, banking, real estate, and law.
After more than four years at PWC, Rae took a position as an assistant controller with one of the largest home builders in the United States. Her responsibilities included month-end financial close processes, margin analysis, management of a team of 20 administrators, and assistance with budgeting and forecasting. She also performed land development analysis and sales contract review.
In addition to providing business consulting services for Frame Legal, Rae advises a number of new South Carolina businesses
as an independent financial consultant and provides financial advisory, bookkeeping and tax services. She also develops multiple year business plan models, month end financial reporting packages, daily cash management projection analysis, and 13 week cash flow forecasts.
Rae holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is very active in the Charleston community to promote women in business.
