My History

Summer attended the University of North Carolina before earning her juris doctorate, graduating cum laude from the Charleston School of Law. Summer has completed the University of Virginia School of Law National Trial Advocacy college, and she is licensed to practice in all states and federal courts in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Summer is an avid Tar Heel fan, and loves any opportunity to visit Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She enjoys all the scenery and lifestyle that Charleston and the Lowcountry area have to offer. When there is time to escape from the office, Summer appreciates spending any time she can outdoors, whether that comes in the form of playing golf, being out on the water, reading on her front porch, or walking her mischievous but loyal Dachshund, Rhett Butler. Summer is also a member of the Town of Sullivan’s Island Board of Zoning Appeals.
